Compact screw compressors with integrated oil separator

K2 is a complete range of compact screw compressors with displaced volumes between 410 and 810 m3/h (50 Hz), for applications with HFO, HFC and natural refrigerants such as Propane, Isobutane, Butane. Stepwise or continuous partialisation in the range 25…100%. Wide possibility of customization thanks to a vast choice of complementary accessories, as well as special voltage motors.

Features

Oil Filter

Vertically removable and replaceable oil filter without the necessity of the crankcase’s emptying and vacuum operation.

Connections

Optimized ergonomics with most connections located on the same side: this makes the control and service operations easier.

Oil Expulsion

Minimal oil expulsion, thanks to the use of optimized multiple separation technology.

Oil Interception

Intelligent oil interception system: it allows the application of external accessories such as oil flow switch or oil cooling heat exchanger without the necessity of previously evacuating the refrigerant.

Bearings

Oversized bearings and rotor crankshaft: greater reliability and stability at high rotation frequencies over 50 Hz (application with inverter).

External Inverter

Specific compressor version available (K3), optimized for operation in combination with an external inverter.

Optional Features

Selectable Vi

Manually selectable Vi by the user at any time: 7 available steps in the range 2.2 … 4.4.

Variable Vi

Variable Vi in steps with hydraulic control through solenoid valves.

The electrical data shown in the 2 tables are referred to K2 compressors with standard motors, optimized for “low pressure” (e.g. R134a, motor size S) and “high pressure” (e.g. R407C, motor size F) refrigerant fluids respectively. Other motors are available for particular uses.
